Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks has opened a search for a European VALORANT team after roughly two years away from VCT competition. His public message specifies an EU-only search and says he is available as either a flex player or in-game leader. He also described himself as hungry to win and invited direct contact from anyone interested in building a long-term project. No organization, trial or agreement was announced.
The distinction between looking for a team and joining one is important. The September 24 message establishes his intention to compete and the roles he is prepared to fill. It does not confirm that an organization has made an offer or that a starting place exists. Until a player or team announces an agreement, the supported development is availability rather than a transfer.
Ardiis has remained visible through streaming and content work during the break. THESPIKE describes the period as two years away from professional play rather than a complete departure from VALORANT. His VLR history lists the last VCT match of his previous run on July 15, 2024, when NAVI lost 1-2 to Team Vitality in the EMEA Stage 2 playoffs.
That timing makes the new post a proposed return to organized competition, not an introduction to the game. Ardiis began his recorded VALORANT career in 2020 and has played in both EMEA and Americas. The EU-only condition now narrows the next step to his home competitive region.
His resume combines titles and regional moves
Ardiis first played for G2 Esports from July 2020 to June 2021 before a shorter Team Heretics period and a move to FunPlus Phoenix in December 2021. The FPX lineup delivered the high point of his playing career at Masters Copenhagen in 2022, defeating Paper Rex in the final. The team later finished fourth at Champions that year.
He crossed to the Americas with NRG in November 2022. During the 2023 season, NRG finished second in the Americas League and fourth at Masters Tokyo. The Champions campaign ended in the group stage, and ardiis returned to EMEA with NAVI in October 2023.
NAVI’s 2024 season did not produce another international appearance for him. He became inactive in September 2024 after the EMEA Stage 2 campaign. The new search presents two possible functions. A flex role would ask him to cover changing Agent and composition needs, while an IGL position would place him inside the team’s calling structure.
